Join us tomorrow, Tuesday, May 24th, for our monthly meeting!

WSBWCN-giant-logocurrentWhat are your top-of-mind, Block Watch-related issues? Bring them to our meeting!

It’s been awhile since we’ve had open discussion as opposed to a full agenda, so this is your chance to discuss what is happening in your neighborhood, ask for advice, share your advice, and get to know your fellow BW captains.  Let’s take advantage of this!

Two topics that have been raised so far both involve youth. How do we engage youth to be involved in Block Watch? How do we build awareness of summer safety issues in them without alarming them?

Meeting schedule (come early, stay late!)

Tuesday, May 24, 2016, 6:30-8 PM
SW Police Precinct, 2300 SW Webster Street (at Delridge Ave SW, next to Home Depot)
6:00-6:30       Arrive early for light snacks; socialize and network while we set up!
6:30-7:00        Introductions, announcements. Update from SW Precinct.
7:00-8:00      Open discussion — bring your concerns, questions and ideas!
8:00-8:30       Feel free to stay after the meeting to continue your discussions.

Everyone is welcome, even if you aren’t a Block Watch Captain!  RSVP is appreciated, but not necessary to attend.  You can email us at

Hope to see you there!
