Reminder: share your thoughts on micro-community policing!

As we mentioned earlier, you’re invited to a special focus group for Block Watch captains, tomorrow (Tuesday, July 28th) from 6:30 to 7:30 PM. It will be held in the same room where we hold the monthly West Seattle Block Watch Captains’ Network meetings at the SW Police Precinct.

Jennifer Burbridge, a Seattle University grad student who is working with the SW Police Precinct on assignment, is conducting a series of these focus groups throughout West Seattle about the micro-community policing plans.

If you can’t make the meeting tomorrow, Jennifer has also scheduled the following additional neighborhood-specific meetings. You are welcome to attend any of these sessions instead.

  • Thursday, July 30th: Westwood/Arbor Heights/Roxhill Communities, 6:30-7:30 PM
  • Wednesday, August 5th: Pigeon Point Community, 6:30-7:30 PM
  • Thursday, August 6th: High Point/Alaska Junction Communities, 6-7 PM
  • Tuesday, August 11th: Morgan Junction Community, 7-8 PM
  • Wednesday, August 12th: Delridge Community, 6-7 PM

All of the focus groups will be held in the same location, in the community meeting room at the SW Police Precinct, 2300 SW Webster Street (next to the Home Depot on Delridge).
