Hi everyone! A belated Happy New Year to you! Now that January is well underway, we want to note a few important dates for your calendar…starting with our monthly meeting.
Tuesday, 1/27, at 6:30 PM: Our West Seattle Block Watch Captains’ Network (WSBWCN) meetings resume this month at the SW Police Precinct (just southeast of the Home Depot store on Delridge) at 2300 SW Webster Street. We hope you’ll join us! Will post the agenda as soon as it’s final.
Tuesday, 1/20, at 7 PM: The West Seattle Crime Prevention Council (WSCPC) meets one week earlier (3rd Tuesdays) in the same location at 7 PM.
Monday, 2/2, at 5 PM: Application deadline for the first round of the Department of Neighborhoods (DON) “Small and Simple” Neighborhood Matching Fund grants. Subsequent application deadlines will be on 6/1 and 10/5. Applications for “Small Sparks” grants are accepted year-round. Applications for “Large Project Fund” grants are due on 5/4 this year. Saturday, 2/14/15: Neighbor Appreciation Day is coming up on February 14th! It coincides with Valentine’s Day this year.
